It is with sadness that I have had to make a decision for the future of the rescue centre,
the decision I have made is to not run the ambulace as that is was one of our biggest expences people will have to bring to us the decision was not made easilly but until we can get some backing, I think it is for the best as it takes regular income (donations) to run, and this we don't have at this time. I have tried my very best to secure a regular income in this I have failed.
IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE DO
WE NEED TO RAISE £300 - £500 A WEEK
TO RUN THE AMBULANCE SERVICE
I would like to thank all the supporters of the centre.
If you can help in any way please do contact me

DENBIGHSHIRE WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTRE
Based in Bodelwyddan on the North Wales Coast D.A.R.C (Denbighshire Avian Rescue Centre) now the D.W.R.C Denbighshire Wildlife Rescue Centre was set up in 2009 dedicated in the welfare of birds. We changed to a wildlife centre late 2010 due to demand.
We run an emergency vehicle but due to lack of funds and the price of fuel we can't go on calls as much as we would like however, we can take in animals that are brought to the centre .
Alongside the wildlife centre, We help re-home pet birds and animals that are no longer wanted, we will advertise all birds and animals that we have to re-home on this site. At the moment we have birds, rabbits and guinea pigs available. See pets for adoption
We will take in pet birds and animals (sorry not cats or dogs) that, for one reason or another no longer have a place in your home or maybe have been just released, their owners expecting them to be ok living in the wild, when in reality they may only last a day or two.
Last year we helped lots of birds into new homes, we also released lots of birds back to the wild where they belong.
Our aim is to educate people in the best possible way we can on how to look after and give their birds and animals the best possible care we can.
